Szoreg is a settlement which forms a part of Szeged in southern Hungary. The plot takes place on a loess hill next to nature conservation woods, in a rustic context of front-gabled houses. Letting the nature as close to the house is the main concept therefor the nature-lover residents want to use the large, narrow site also for gardening and planting. The cantilevered frame porch rising from the sloping terrain lets the house floating in the vegetation, and also surrounds the two main front-gabled house blocks, the intimate room section, and the common living spaces. The frame also marks two atriums, the arrival area and the sunny terrace.
